My Approach to Mental Health
At Therapy with Manuëlle, I offer a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, reflect, and feel genuinely understood. I work with high-achieving individuals, first-borns, adult children carrying significant responsibilities, and those navigating family, cultural, or life pressures. Together, we address anxiety, self-esteem, burnout, relationship challenges, identity, and major life transitions.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive, allowing therapy to feel personalized to your unique experiences and needs. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, emotionally aware, confident, and connected to yourself as you move through life with greater clarity and balance.
My Vision
I believe that mental health care should be accessible, welcoming, and reflective of everyone’s unique background. Therapy should feel inclusive, supportive, and understandable, not intimidating. My goal is to help reduce stigma around mental health and make people feel comfortable reaching out for support.

Emmanuëlle Idisi-Okpoko, M.ACP, B.SC, B.A,
Welcome, and thank you for being here.
I’m Manuëlle, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I created this space for people who are used to being the strong one but are ready to feel supported too. I work with ambitious individuals, first born daughters, and people navigating anxiety, burnout, identity concerns, family dynamics, cultural expectations, relationship stress, and life transitions.
As someone from a Nigerian and faith centered background, I understand the pressure of balancing personal growth, family expectations, and figuring out who you are outside of those expectations. My lived experience navigating ADHD also shapes my approach to therapy with compassion, flexibility, and the understanding that healing looks different for everyone.
My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally aware, and grounded in helping you feel safe enough to show up fully as yourself. I’m passionate about making therapy feel accessible, genuine, and supportive while helping you build confidence, emotional awareness, and a stronger connection to yourself.
Outside of therapy, you’ll likely find me spending time with my dog, learning new languages, or trying new hobbies. I believe growth is ongoing, and that we are all learning ourselves as we go.

My Education
My path to therapy was paved through years of operating in high-stress, high-stakes environments. With a Diploma in Paramedicine and professional experience as a Paramedic, I have a deep, firsthand understanding of how the body and mind process acute stress and crisis. This foundational work led me to pursue a Bachelor of Psychology and a Bachelor of Health Science, followed by my current Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology.
Today, as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under clinical supervision, I translate that "frontline" experience into a grounded, calm therapeutic space. I don't just look at your thoughts; I look at your whole health. My approach is relational and depth-oriented, designed to help you move from a state of survival into a life of clarity and intention.
